The London Olympics also present the opportunity to cheer on current and former Trojans! There will be more than 30 athletes taking part in sports such as water polo, volleyball, and track representing the Trojan household. There are a number of current USC coaches who are going to be lending their coaching expertise during the games that are olympic.
USC has a long tradition of planning Olympic athletes. From 1904 to 2008, there have been almost 400 athletes whom either attended the university before, during, or after their Olympic competition. USC has sent more athletes towards the Olympics than virtually any university and our athletes have acquired a total that is grand of medals.

The Expo Line is open!! finally!
The expansion of Los Angeles’s light rail train system (LA Metro) has finally opened after six years of anticipation. Welcome Back, Pupils!
Summer time is visiting a close. Classes at USC resume week that is next. And probably the most things that are exciting happening on campus this week—our students are going in! Our campus is busy with students and families getting everything all set for the academic year. Welcome has officially begun week.
In between the tasks that are necessary registering for the USCard , becoming acquainted with the libraries on campus, and picking out a dinner plan, pupils and parents have multiple events and tasks to select from during Welcome Week. There is certainly a greeting Reception designed for moms and dads hosted by the USC Parents Council and also the Office for Parent Programs to begin connecting parents with all the resources our campus has to offer them. Many of the departments that are academic campus are keeping open homes for students to come meet faculty, staff, and other current students inside their program.
